My Father

I am requesting prayer for my father (Joe Sr.) that was just rushed to the hospital, the lab came a took blood from him this morning and the lab just called and told us to take him right to the hospital as he is in the early stages of kidney failure.

I will post an update as soon as I get more info on how he is, my mother went with him in the rescue squad so please keep her in prayer as well.

I just got home from the hospital and they are keeping dad, his white cell count is very high, near sceptic levels they said. He has a number of things that are wrong with him and I will update after we talk to the doctors tomorrow.

My Mother has had kidney illness most all my life, as she was born with one kidney half the size of the other. That put strain on the full size kidney to make up for the lack. She was recently diagnosed from bloodwork as having kidney failure and sent to a nephrologist. This doctor went over her list of medications, finding that medications were the culprit for making high potassium and creatnine levels, creating the kidney failure. With prayers and suggestions of changing medications, which she did..she is now maintaining today healthier levels of kidney function with which we give God the glory for leading the way before her. Prayers are with your Dad.

God bless you for stepping out in faith and asking for prayer agreements, which is walking by faith...

Agreeing with your for sustained healthy kidney functions..

Joe, Our prayers are for you and your family.  Kidney problems are never a good thing. My uncle had a kidney transplant years ago and was going through dialisis prior to passing away in Dec.  Hopefully they can get him on the mend.  Heavenly Father, watch over Joe and his family and help the doctors get Joe Sr. on the road to recovery from the kidney failure and any other problems that he suffers from. In Jesus' name, Amen!!!

This is an up date of Joe's father. He has been diagnosed with Pneumonia in his left lung as well as infection in his urine. The doctor put him on IV, Antibiotics and may give him blood tonight. He will know more tommorrow for a prognosis so for now it is up to God tonight. Joe will be staying over night with his dad in his hospital room.

Update:

I just got back from visiting with dad and at first when we got there he did not want to wake up so we sat and talked to him and prayed and before we left he woke up, he still can't talk but he let us know that he knew we were there and he opened them big blue eyes as well.

His heart rate is up and his blood pressure is much better. His core temp is still low and the infection is still bad and there is no change in it yet, but I have faith in God that if God wants dad to get better he will, Amen.

He received two units of blood last night and his color seems to be better and he seemed to feel warmer than he was last night. Thank God for getting him through the night. I am going back up latter and will post an upadte again soon.

Thank everyone for their many thoughts and prayers and I ask that you continue to keep him and our family in prayer.

Heavenly Father. I lift up Joe Sr. to YOU. YOU are the great HEALER. Only YOU can cure all problems. Lord I pray that not only you cure Joe, but let him know that you are GOD. Let him know that he can spend eternal life with YOU. I know my brother has asked me to pray that his dad receive you, so that he may be saved. I pray that he see YOUR LIGHT shine through his son. Update:

I just got back from visiting with Dad, not much of change other than the anti's that they are giving him are starting to fight the infection in his white blood count. Amen!

He is still very weak and in stable condition, they told us today that he is still very sick so please continue to pray for him.

This has been very hard on me to see him like this and I ask that God would be with him and have mercy on him, as I want my father to get beeter, but at the same time I don't want him to suffer any more than he has to.

Joe I ran into Dianne tonight at her job and I told her I would continue to keep your father in prayer. I am keeping you and Dianne in prayer also as I know that this can be very hard on everyone when a loved one is so ill. I pray that you will stay strong and that all will find peace and comfort in God's arms.

Update:

I just got back from visiting with dad and it does not look good, last night the doctor said he is still very sick. Today his nurse said that the infection has spread all over his body and they don't think he will pull through it.

Please continue to keep him in prayer as I know that through God all things are possible and please keep me in prayer as this is taking it's toll on me and our family.
